DescriptionEvery time I look at this page all I hear is the theme song for the 90s cartoon!! Who didn’t love the X-men cartoon from the 90s??? And who doesn’t remember the first episode the “Night of the Sentinels” - well this page from X-men Adventures is adapting that episode! Andrew Wildman and Robert Campanella do a good job gettingThe imagery right as Jubilee is attacked by a sentinel and Rogue Storm and Gambit jump into action!! Social/Sharing |

These pages certainly stop you in your tracks and let's you relive the experience of the first episode. The art style had the energy to match the animated series and appealed to a larger audience who were discovering the X-Men as the underdog outsider heroes that fit the times.

The X-Men cartoon was the reason I first started reading comics. I know for many it was the other way. This is great!

In addition to the music in my head, I also sense pepperoni. Wasn't there a Pizza Hutt promo issue tie-in? Ahhh, college highlights right there.

Sentinel jumpin' right off the board, reachin' out to to take another step in eliminating the X gene! Love the design of those guys. Congrats!

As basically already stated by others, this is one of those iconic moments from X-Men history- and it wasn't even originally from the comics, but rather the cartoon! Tons of fun here. I really enjoy seeing that first panel from the Sentinel's point of view to start the whole she-bang off.
Thanks for sharing!

This is a fun X-Men animation page, great history and matches the cartoon really well.
