Description

I've enjoyed Phil Foglio's work since I discovered it in the StarToons paperback book in the 80s. (Yes, I'm that old.) I'm not a stoner or a Trekker but found this at a great price and had to get it. Dated 1976, features his cartoon-y rendition of the original Klingon design. (The page has an unfortunate crease from some benighted soul.) From fan illos he went on to illustrate Robert Asprin's "Myth-adventures" books and then his own comic books such as Girl Genius and XXX-enophile. I feel lucky to have 2 of his pieces in my collection.

The fold does add character and back history to how these pieces get lost over time and now unfolded and appreciated like a new discovery. It is a voice of the times now able to echo in modern times.
