A great example of how McKean's art, storytelling, and subject matter have evolved since his early work.
The eye of Paul Nash and how his vision manifests on the right side of the page is storytelling genius by McKean as he can probably relate as he is an artist like Nash. Even in the war trenches of misery and muck, the creative spark is like a spark of hope.
