Description

I had to double dip into DIke's run on Shang-Chi. I couldn't resist his take on Spidey and he does not disappoint. It's essentially a talking heads page yet it's amazing how much interest Dike is able to put into the pictures. His style of a soft background with detailed figures works perfectly.

His mind is web-twisted, he got the Ruan limb bends
He got a lot of pretty, pretty panels Ruan calls friends
How they fight in the courtyard, sweet summer sweat.
Some fight to remember, some fight to forget

So I called up the dealer,
"Please ship me my pages"
He said, "We haven't had Marvel Special Edition art here since nineteen seventy one."
And still those comments are calling from far away,
Scanning art in the middle of the night
Just to hear them say...

Loving Dike's work on SC, and here, Spidey to boot! Nice storytelling and love them backgrounds he's doing in this book. Congrats!
