DescriptionI am an INSANE Stunner fan and I was shocked to see another one existed in the absolutely amazing Paul P - https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerydetail.asp?gcat=80505I had always wanted a Bagley Stunner page and my dream was/is to own the cover to Amazing Spider-Man #397. I asked Paul if he'd be willing to sell and soon learned he had almost every Bagley Stunner page in existence. Although he wouldn't part with that cover he did end up chatting with me for quite a bit about our shared comic loves and to this day remains the nicest person I've ever met in this hobby. He recognized my passion and saw I was a much poorer, younger collector who needed help and although I know it hurt him, he ultimately worked out a deal for me to own this page. I am ETERNALLY grateful and I will never forget how lucky I was to know him and get this chance. Paul is what every comic art collector should strive to be. Open, caring and although he is a rabid collector he is also willing to NOT be a hoarder and recognize the younger generations need some help collecting stuff they missed out on. Thank you so much Paul!!! I often think of you and your kindness and vow to always help out other collectors looking for their dream pieces if I have them. And Paul, I'd still LOVE to have that 397 cover someday hahahah!! Social/Sharing |

Bagley inked by the Mahlstedt is very nostalgic as this came around during the build up to the milestone issue. Stunner's costume was certainly memorable as she wore it being a sexy powerhouse out for vengeance.

Wow, Dave, thank you so much for all the kind words! I was really happy to add this beautiful piece to the collection of a fellow Stunner fan, and a really nice guy as well. This page really does have it all. That vertical establishing shot of the city, then Stunner leaping in, then that gorgeous close-up of her face, then that splashy show of brute strength at the end. Mark Bagley is a wonderful story teller. Anyway, enjoy this gem, and I now have you on my watched gallery list, so I look forward to your future posts. Stay safe!
