DescriptionAs noted on Page 284 (with this art appearing on Page 285) in the book Berni Wrightson: A Look Back, this was the very first illustration produced by Wrightson for his seminal Frankenstein adaptation. Wrightson was not completely satisfied with how the Monster's face turned out, and as a result never finished inking the piece. The Marvel illustrated novel was one of the two most defining works by the celebrated Master of the Macabre (the other being his work on DC's Swamp Thing).Social/Sharing |
