Description

Firestorm #2 was my first introduction to Firestorm, it was the winter of 1978 and I read this comic a thousand times and even started to write my first fan letter since I liked it so much! I remember tracing the cover and hand coloring it. Anyway, as you can see by my gallery, Firestorm has been my favorite character for years and I've been fortunate to meet Gerry Conway and Al Milgrom a few times at conventions.

So when this came up for auction at Heritage recently I had to own it.

Nice early issue that was part of the expansion and implosion! It is rare early art for the character! It has no shortage of action here! Milgrom and McLeod laid the groundwork and Firestorm would eventually come back to gain even more popularity.
