The inks on this are just outstanding! It's great fun seeing which cover you'll homage next.
Wow, talking about obscure characters, I didn't remember who was Meta! He only appeared in Legionnaires #81 (last issue of the series) where he (apparently?) died or perhaps, he went to the alternate universe from Infinite Timelines!
I'm mostly a pre-5-years gap Legion fan: so although I have read most of the later Legion material, my memories of those issues fail a lot because they aren't specially memorable to me and I don't remember the small details and I miss some references and fail to recognize minor characters.
The capes are actually what stand out against the background and suggests so much movement!
Good eye, the capes helped evoke the feeling of weightlessness
I loved the original cover and I love this Re-Legion too. Great background.
