Simpsonized

This is the greatest piece in my collection. It was a Christmas present from wife back in 2002. She made contact through a friend with one of the animators of the Simpsons who does commissions. She sent him a picture of me and the dog and gave him a list of some of my favorite things/hobbies/bands/sports teams, etc.

He told her at their initial contact that he was not allowed to put any Simpsons characters in the sketch due to trademark infringements, but when the final sketch arrived, I guess they had such a good rapport, that he included Silver Surfer Homer and of course, Disco Stu.

I love this piece more than any of my original pages or sketches and it hangs proudly in the house where anyone can see it.
