DescriptionEvery year for Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) Marvel puts out 5-10 short teaser comics that tease up-coming story arcs. For 2019 they were teasing the upcoming Cates/Stegman run on Venom plus wanted to show the array of characters Spidey would be working with that year. Marvel asked Ottley to go 'all out' on this DPS and he delivers.In the front we have our friendly neighborhood Spider-man. Then we have some 'good guys' like Spider-Gwen and Miles Morales and Superior Spidey. Then we have a rogue's gallery of baddies: o Venom o Carnage o Mysterio o Goblin o Kindred o Some wolf guy - wolf-man? Anyway, I've been waiting for a 'Spidey Ottley Grail' for a while and this one really caught my attention. Apparently Ottley sat on it for a couple of years and finally released it to Felix - thanks Felix!! Social/Sharing |

Yeah, it must be Man-Wolf. He was in the Absolute Carnage: Lethal Protectors limited series that came out in 2019,so I assume that is a nod to that.

Ok class, for your final, summarize Ottley's entire run on Spider-Man in one image. You may use double paging, but no less than 20,000 lines.

Very well could be the best Spidey piece Ottley has done, and that's saying something! The central Spidey figure is tops and I LOVE his version, with all the detail, of Venom at the top left. Killer, killer stuff. Congrats, man!
