DescriptionI tend more towards pages with beautiful women over violent pages but when I had a chance to pick up a page from Conan 11, I was drawn to this one with Conan making his way up the stairs on his way to give Jenna her due!I pulled out my Chronicles of Conan Vol 2 and read Roy Thomas' comments at the back of this TPB. Roy mentions this page twice, not only the stabbing panel but also "Barry's sequence of five panels at the bottom of page 11, I think, is quite masterful..." Thanks Mike! 12/7 Update: On FB, there was a post re:Bullseye stabbing Elektra from DD 181 p24 - posting that page as an additional image, not sure who else used this visual technique? 12/9 Update: In Rick W's Gallery, Warlord issue 3 page 4 has a stabbing panel with an entire sword - Thanks Rick, here is an additional image of this sweet page! Despite his very young age and a still immature (but instantly recognizable) style, BWS was already a true master in terms of composition and storytelling. Fantastic addition to your Gallery!

Fabulous content all over this page and Sal really outdid himself inking to Smith's strengths here. Kudos!

Superb choreography of action for the kill and then a static camera as Conan approaches closer, getting more angry and intense with each panel.

Killer fight page. Love the inking by "Our Pal" Sal and that great last panel closeup!

Absolutely love the vertical panels. Especially the sequence at the bottom. Something so cinematic about it.

Spectacular page...I've always preferred Buscema's Conan, but this is amazing...

Man, he didn't even use his sword, just pushed that stick through his chest. By Crom, that's peak Conan. BWS just packed pages with crazy detail, too, but without making the images feel crowded or swamped, imo. The negative cracks through the wall in that first panel was wonderful overkill. Great score. Congrats!

Stunning page! BWS at his best, deftly inked by Sal. Those characteristic, narrow panels are used to great cinematic effect. Great catch!

Death pages are now becoming even more en vogue with today's market trends. Stabbing pages where the blade actually goes through the unfortunate victim without piercing the clothing brings a certain sense of foreboding and impending, painful death. When the hero/villian removes the blade, it further signifies the death as they will suffer the punctured/obliterated organs and more than likely bleed out. While this sequence is not as dramatic as Bullseye's stabbing of Elektra where she lived long enough to struggle to Matt's door and to die in his arms in DD 181, it is excellent storytelling in that Conan sees his dying, vanquished foe as a mere afterhought.

Jaw-dropping page! Everything about this page is magical. BWS's composition is first rate. And the final five panels are outstanding! Superb inking by Sal takes this to another level! A+ page!

KILLER PAGE (literally)!!! But seriously, a very memorable page and that bottom sequence is just incredible. And I loved Sal Buscema's inks over Smith's pencils- about as good a Conan page as you could ever hope to find!
