Although Raymond only fully illustrated one book - SCUTTLE WATCH, from which came this nice cover, he also did two other dust jacket illustrations for hardcover books, CARMEN OF THE RANCHO and GUNSMOKE IN THE HILLS.

You must be reading the wrong biography!  Try the much more accurate ALEX RAYMOND: HIS LIFE AND ART by Tom Roberts.
