Description

As I continued to work through my list of planned UXM cover recreations & homages, it dawned on me that Helena's style would fit the cover of UXM #189 perfectly, while timing worked well as she was taking a pre-Thought Bubble commission list.

The abstract aspects of her figure drawing and her great application of color really delivered.

Just a big fan of Helena's work!

Wonderfully captures and expands on all the great effects JRJR used on the original. It is even stronger and emphasizes that power in this format. Masellis understands the substance and rapturousness of the original cover.

How did I miss this one? Great recreation, and she perfectly kept the energy and graphic qualities from the original.
