Description

This came up at auction and it called out to the designer. The size of Supes, his position on the page, his pose and even the page it self grabbed me. Loved that the page is old school.

I'd dearly love help in identifying the artist(s). The inking is pretty stella. I reckon by someone at the top of their game. The piece is attributed to 1985. I'm going out on a limb with a couple of guesses here. I reckon it might be Giordano on inks. The pencils are the right time for Neal Adams and the facial and body structure seem familiar for that time. But I also think it's got an Ross Andru feel.

I actually like the piece enough for it to not matter if it isn't any of my guesses, but would just like to attribute it to someone all the same. If anyone has any idea please do shout out�

It was my first guess and getting a educated guess by someone of your standing helps narrow things down…!

I think it's Ross Andru as well, but the inker could be Mike DeCarlo.
