Description
I'm excited to add this beautiful splash drawn Ramon Rosanas for Age of Sentry issue #4 featuring 27 characters on the page! This splash is the first appearance of Marvel's pop rock band the CRICK-HITS in a classic homage to the Beatles iconic Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album cover. This splash includes band members modeled after George Harrison and Paul McCartney and some of Marvel's finest. It was also fun to see the return of the golden age character the Blonde Phantom here. Published by Marvel Comics December 2008.

I originally missed it but it was fun to see the CRICK-HITS easter egg pop up in an episode of Cloak and Dagger almost a decade after they appeared in the comics.

This felt like a fitting soundtrack for this piece:

A pop art extravaganza that makes a lot of sense since the costumes used for the album cover was just as eclectic as the Marvel roster.  A wonderful concept cover for one of the all time concept albums.

Very cool - 27 packed in here, eh?!  Definitely legit bang for your buck from a character standpoint!  Love the row of the original X-Men in the middle :)  Congrats!

Paul McCartney's work with the Crick-Hits played a major role in the breakup of the Beatles.  Nobody can convince me otherwise.

I don't think there's a better example of a "George Hage" piece with the perfect intersection of your two loves. Congrats on the get, man!
