DescriptionThe Hulk sports gray skin on this opening full splash page from Incredible Hulk #336. McFarlane pencils a gorgeous full page rendition of his stylized Hulk exploding his fist deep into the walls of a building, about to collapse in just mere seconds.Todd McFarlane is best known for his work on Incredible Hulk and Spider-Man, full page splashes from these issues are rarely found on the public market and when they find their way to auction the competition for quality material is feverish. The offered Hulk splash is just about the best page a McFarlane collector can expect. With Hulk's image taking up the entire page and McFarlane's pencil detail complemented by Jim Sanders intricate ink work, this piece is a show stopper. The art has an image area of approximately 10" x 15". Social/Sharing |

Very nice McFarlane splash where he was doing some innovative things with page layouts and composition even before all the wonderful detailed work is considered. Here he looks like he's going full bleed and having the title logo cross through the art in this X-Factor crossover issue opening splash. When Hulk complains the life is not fair, that line at the complaint department better clear out because he's not taking a number nor waiting in line to talk to the manager.

Ha ha ha ha.
I laughed for 10 minutes when I read this.
At times, I have had the same type of internal response to situations; however, my age and body capabilities restrain the impulse to cause a calamity of 'comic proportions' (pun intended) given my inability to formulate any agressive response.

It's not fair! You are posting all the pieces I want to have!
Ha ha. When you get to my age, you accumulate a lot of stuff. Some are good, but most are trash.
