Wonderful fan submission page that is a big honor for kids who created these designs and see their names published.

Yes, and some of those kids had multiple submissions in the Katy comics and became professional artists and designers, like Jack Evans from this sports car page, and Barb Rausch, who worked as a designer in theater and drew comics, including a run on a Barbie comic.  On a similar note to budding artists getting a taste of being published in Katy comics, the letters pages in superhero comics in the Silver Age was peppered with letters from teenage fans who became comic book writers. As I'm not checking out many modern comics, I'm not aware if there are ways for current readers to be interactive in any way with the comics industry, but years ago it was a win-win for the comics and the fans when their designs could be seen and their letters printed.

Love the subject matter and time period. Fast cars and fashionable women go well together. Congrats on a beauty!!
