Description

On a few commissions I decided to get pre-Code cover homages whenever a scene from the movie MARK OF THE ASTRO-ZOMBIES matched up well.

There is a crime storyline embedded throughout the movie where Malvira (portrayed by Tura Satana) and her dimwit henchman, Zokar (portrayed by yours truly), kidnap news reporter, Cindy Natale (portrayed by Brinke Stevens) and attempt to extract information about how the Astro-Zombies function. The questioning involves the threat of torture using household tools.

This particular piece is a combination of covers to UNDERWORLD CRIME #7 and loosely the cover to CLUE #14.
