Description

In my quest to get artwork of the GI Joe team from creators that worked on the property, I'm very glad to be able to include Bob McLeod! Bob worked on issue 1 of the Marvel comic and several other issues. While Bob is known for his inking, he's a heck of a penciler, which is easy to see in this Wild Bill art! Bob did a superb job of not just drawing a character but making him look distinctive. Thanks to Clan McDonald for the great opportunity!

Update: I saw Bob McLeod at Galaxy Con Columbus 2023 and had him ink this piece! I was really impressed with the original pencils and have been kicking myself for not getting it as in inked piece in the first place! Bob was happy to ink it and now it looks even more outstanding!

McLeod gives him that swivel arm battle grip! Wild Bill comes with the XH-1 Dragonfly and always important giving the Joes air support! Very strong portrait of this unique character on the team.
