DescriptionAny George Storm artwork is scarce. Just check the Heritage Auction archives. So I was glad to pick up a number of panel prelims from Ron Goulart years back. Ron is the only person I know who had a direct connection to Storm, receiving a letter from him in the 1940s (elsewhere in this gallery) and acquiring some work from Storm's widow (or ex-wife, I can't recall). These four panels were preliminary pieces that Storm worked up for the comic strip Patsy, which he worked on for a few years. One of these days I'll track down the printed strips that go with these.Social/Sharing |
