DescriptionThe Thing # 5 (Volume 3) page 15"The Next Big Thing" part 5 Art by Tom Reilly Written by Walter Mosley Color by Jordie Bellaire Marvel Comics - March 2, 2022 This six issue story made me a fan of both creators and a bigger fan of The Thing. Issue five was full of fanboy moments and surprises. I mean check out this page with Ben arming himself to battle Dr Doom with Beserker's staff, Barda's(?) helmet, perhaps Doom's glove, and the Champion of the Universe's belt! "...ROCK AND ROLL..." Doom elevates any page he's on and Benji is rising up to the challenge! Reilly shows that he's ready to take the big stage with the art on this page that builds up to the battle.

It LOOKS like Barda's helmet, but isn't it actually one of Thanos' helmets? The only other question is, how could you not already have been a big fan of everyone's idol o' millions? Doooooom!

In looking back it's reminiscent of Barda and Thanos' helmets but I think it's supposed to be Grimm's own thing (pun intended)! His own cosmic helmet. And already loved Doom, but realized I have very little art with the character. Stoked to add these pages!
