Description

"I'm going out, Father."

"Gotham needs me."

A great start to this short story retelling Damian's origin (during the time that Batman died. well not really. it's complicated). Love the panel with the Batsuit and Damian peering up at it. You feel that weight of Bruce's empty suit legacy bearing down on Damian here. Bertram's distinctive style was already on display with the organic look to the machinery, the tubes and pipes curving their way down.

Thanks for the explanation, it was an intriguing page but cyrptic without your description. Though I am still somewhat puzzled about the background, though that is cool enough without an explanation. Congrats.

Bertram is a true artist. I does so much with eyes in art. And his linework is superb, especially here on the Bat suit.
