Avengers 156 p14

Loved this crossover with Supervillian Team-Up! Great to see Golden Age Whizzer in action (somehow that doesnt sound right ) and one of the last appearances of Wonderman's original costume.

The action is taut with each panel serving to build up drama as Beast falls and Namor coming up to bat!  The Sal Buscema art stresses big action and big emotion getting amplified by the Janson inks.

An excellent battle page. I like the Sub-Mariner's dialog.

Yes, of course it's Marcos - that's what happens when posting while watching Dueling Dealers...

Buying these Marvel comics new on the stands as a kid, I felt like Sal Buscema's art rose and fell based on which inker was assigned to the book. Pablo Marcos does an excellent job here, adding a lot of depth and grace to the page. 

Cool page, but not Janson inks. This is Pablo Marcos inks.

The story of my collecting existence right now - a day late and a dollar short.  When I checked my e-mail (two days too late) and saw this page post in my feed, it had moved and shifted to 'On Hold' status.  I wondered who purchased it and if the new owner would post it.  I congratulate you on moving quickly to add this page to your collection.
