Description
I love these classic early ‘70s panel pages by Novick & Giordano! A cheesy ‘70s plot and script by the legendary Dennis O’Neil injects Batman into a cast of Macbeth theater actors as he thwarts and investigates a murder plot amongst the troupe. This page shows the Scooby Doo quality reveal as Batman unveils Jimson as the would-be murderer. Queue the axe fight! 🪓

Big ax, swing through it
When you want to go Novick
It's Bats, detect it
When Jimson is dumb
Big ax, swing at it
When you MacBeth scene it, chew it
Big Ax, don't swing it

It's the rule of thumb

"You have bad vision - very bad!"  I've heard my wife tell me that a few times when my contacts aren't in :)  Some fun storytelling, and those last 2 panels are killer!  Love the movement of the cape.  Congrats, man!

Always thought of Novick and Giordano as the best runner up to Break Adams' Batman work.   Nice Batman page.
