Description
As we all know, in life you need a bit of luck. And it's definitely true of our hobby.

I don’t know why but for some reason I decided to take a look at Jeff’s Instagram profile and I noticed something new.....a link to a Big Cartel store!

A little curious (understatement!) I went straight on, saw this and picked it up immediately.

Right time, right place.

Absolutely delighted to pick this up!

As you may know, this was originally listed as a variant cover for Wonder Girl #8 but sadly the series was cancelled after #7, so I was a little concerned about my purchase. But I needn’t have worried. DC was never going to let this cover go unused.

And in case you're wondering, yes, Jeff finished this cover digitally, adding Yara Flor's winged horse Jerry later, but actually I'm more than happy for the focus of this piece to be all about Yara.

Yassss!! Get it, Ed!

I totally feel you on appreciating the piece as-is - feel the same way about my Catwoman cover. The finished products are beautiful but something intoxicating about the simplicity and focus of the original inks

Jaw dropping in just the design.  It's like an abstract modern art piece with the brush stroke painting, the finer work in the face, and thin wire linework for her body.  The focus on her alone in this form, creates an asymmetrical presentation that is even more powerful.

Bold and stylish piece!  Looks like he was referencing the Asaro head a bit on the construction of her jaw & chin.  Great hair design

Awesome pickup!  Love the attitude on display here.  I thought all his covers were done digitally, so thanks for the tip about his store!
