Description
One look at my gallery should tell you I'm a huge fan of Rick Remender and his collaborators' works. He teased this piece on his Instagram, which was originally just going to be a poster for his Giant Generator store. I've never emailed a rep faster than I did after seeing this piece - I just had to have it. I worked a deal out with Jason at Essential Sequential and went on my way.

A few weeks later I found out it was going to be a variant cover for the final issue of Deadly Class - even more to love about this piece.

Then, a few days ago, Rick posted to his Instagram that he had wanted the original piece, but heard the offers Jones was getting and didn't want to stand in the way, so he relinquished it. But little did he know, Jones secretly painted him *another* jam piece that's equally spectacular. What a move from Jones. Head over to Rick's instagram to check out that piece!

It's a massive 18" x 24"

Huge thanks to Jason, JG, and Rick for this one :)

The summary and retrospective of Remender's career so far.  This is magnificent and promises that here will be more awesome Remender properties to come!

When I saw this piece, I thought "I can't believe Remender didn't buy this!" Great story.

I suspect there was a bit of miscommunication at the center of it, and I felt bad for my part in it; but with Jones coming in clutch and painting Rick his own I think it work out for everyone. And I'm grateful for that :)

ps. I really appreciate your thoughtful comments on CAF Live on my other Jones Deadly Class cover and that Deadly Class DPS 🙏

Thanks Michael! Based on your art taste, I'd recommend Seven to Eternity (which I just finished myself). Page after page of jaw dropping art from Opeña

This piece is spectacular! It's such a great capsule of Remender's different worlds. Remender continues to amaze with the depth and variety he provides in his different works - as well as all the amazing artists he works with. Huge congrats!
