DescriptionWith this page, I have completed a six page Krypto story by Curt Swan, my favorite Superman artist. I bought pages 1-4 and 6 from Edward Boren in 2010. I bought this page (5) from my friend Dwayne Dush in March 2022.My parents had a tradition of putting comics in my Christmas stocking. I believe that Action Comics 467 was one of those comics-with it's Stop It Superman you are wrecking the world cover-I think it is there that I encountered Krypto for the first time and began my life long love of my favorite super-hero. Krypto’s dog biscuit factory defeat of Mxyzptlk made a lasting impression on me: I asked James Hance and Ian Richardson to include M’s hat in Krypto commissions. I am a sentimental fellow-I also have two Jose Garcia-Lopez Batman pages as well the color guide cover of Batman 272, the first comic my father bought for me and two pages each from Marvel Comics classics-Robin Hood and Prince and the Pauper-two other Christmas stocking comics. For over a decade, this page was the Krypto page I most wanted (which as you may know for me, is saying a lot). Thanks again to Dwayne for selling this page to me and making it possible for me to complete this story. Social/Sharing |

another classic from Swan.a mini battle of the century betweeen Krypto and Mr. Mxyzptik. love the humor about Krypto having to eat all the Biscuitsthese were always fun reads, all you need was Bat-mite and ace the bat hound. love the story about getting comics for Christmas, it's that human connection that getting this full story that makes it extra special.

Shannon, so glad you've completed the story. Thanks a ton for sharing the background. 12 years is a long time to wait but I know it was worth it.

Swan really had to be on his game to do these stand alone short stories that would make an impression with audiences young and old. A great day to see a story whole once more.
