Description
With the incredible Heritage results today, I thought I would post something affordable. So affordable, and it was given to me as a gift by Adam Kubert! Seriously though, Adam and Andy were doing signings for us, and things ran a little late, and Adam was incredibly generous and sent me this page or original art as a gift, which was incredibly kind of him. It was a great series by Adam, Andy and Dave Gibbons! This may be the last DC project they did before signing with Marvel, but don't quote me 100% on that.

The hunter becomes the hunted as the tale of Batman, Earth's ultimate detective, is pitted against Predator in the second installment of this blockbuster comics event.

Batman versus Predator is a DC Comics and Dark Horse Comics crossover publication featuring Batman and The Predator. The story was published as a three-issue mini-series and it's notable for being the first time these two characters meet.

The series was met with critical and commercial success; warranting two sequels called Batman versus Predator II: Bloodmatch and Batman versus Predator III: Blood Ties.

This page is an amazing example by the Kubert bros ! A great gift to a great person  ! This mini-series was my first exposure to the Kuberts art and I remember being very impressed !

It was a crazy idea, but I enjoyed this book as a kid because it was so out there!  Nice page, Nick!

Thanks James!  Talking about artists being writers for a second, this mini-series and the World's Finest that Gibbons did with Steve Rude, both rocked!  Dave pulled the best out of Andy and Adam here!
