Description

Published in Dave Cockrum Tribute book. Uncanny X-Men #153 is a famous issue during Cockrum's second run. Kitty tells a fairy tale to Illyana. In the fairy tale, Kitty and Colossus are pirates. And each member of the X-men is a fantasy version. Buccellato did a great homage to that story.

Very nice tribute piece to the issue that endeared itself to fans with one time cartoony fantasy versions. It broke the tension of the heavy tone of the series and stood out for it.
