Description
This was a recent purchase from Dueling Dealers on the Comic Art Live YouTube channel. Love me some Razor! Not a lot of people know the Ed got his start at London Night with Razor. Others to start there were Eric Powell of The Goon fame and Billy Tucci, who introduced his SHI character in Razor Annual #3. Cover artists of the time included Jim Balent, James O'Barr, and Joseph Michael Linsner. London Night was a major indie player back in the day and I just love the characters and artists that came through.

Wow, this is some early McGuinness. I didn't even know he started out doing work for small independant publishers! Cool....

Edgy sharp linework by Ed McGuiness!  Slick textures throughout for the chain, gauntlet, and hairstyle.  It has a wonderful 90's pin up look and the backgrounds are a nice black and white split to balance out the piece.

I was watching the show. When this piece went for sale and I remember being blown away that there is a Ed McGuinness Razor piece even existing. Then when I saw you with the claim.  I knew this piece was going to a great home. Congrats big buddy.
