Great to have cons back! Got to see Steve again at SDCF and had him do his take on Cannonball. Always nice to chat with him and see him work.

I love how he used parallel vertical line in the black areas of the torso. Great looking piece!

One character with easy to relate to powers as all he did was hurtle through everything like the Rhino. All you had to do was pretend you were a cannonball to be Cannonball! He flies into the frame just to be captured by Leialoha's snapshot.

Man, the greats have all the tricks. I really dig how he used fine lines and more open space in the front/top of the image, and saved the dark inks for the bottom/back, to give depth, and to make the image propel forward with cannonball energy. Subtly brilliant choice, imo. And I love that pose. He hasn't lost a step, this is excellent. Congrats!
