Description

Old Glory at the Crossroads was produced by Rick Fletcher and Athena Robbins as a weekly centennial historical look at the civil war. It was published from January 1, 1961, until June 6, 1965. This series told the story battle by battle, week to week with amazingly high research on both the story and the art. All the weapons, ships, uniforms and buildings were illustrated better than having photographs of the real event. Narrative art like this takes the reader on a journey through the conflict that still impacts America today...

This particular strip was the rare page Rick Fletcher used colored ink. Most of his color work was only on photostats used as color guides...
