I was saving this for Vesak but needed a bit of Zen in my life today.

Probably one of my Top 5 favorite pieces. My wife and I purchased it together after visiting the National Gallery of Modern art in Bombay (Mumbai), many moons ago. We fell in love with it instantly.

The paint is meticulously applied, and it is a large pieces, about 4� tall. The luminous quality of the skin tones and flowers immediately put the mind at ease.

I have no further information about the artist or their work, unfortunately. Thanks for looking!

I love the Picasso inspired head and the textures are really nice. The fact that the wife not only likes it too but helped pick it out, that's just gravy on top!

Very cool, M L. Always nice to be introduced to new artists. Must be a sight to pore over in person, too. I'm getting some from the scan but sure I'm missing most. Love how it gets darker as you move down. Congrats to you and wifey!

So, uhhhh, ummm, which team is she on? What's her powers? Do the petals point to her origin story? Is she Marvel or DC? No wait, it's Indy, I know it's Indy. Umm...do you know if this is her first appearance? Y'know what...forget all that, I found something else Imma buy instead. Cool page though, bro. You do you.
