Description

Rob Liefeld splash page from approximately 1991.

Probably unused.

The little information I have on the piece is that this may have been something he did for a Beast series he was lobbying for. Possibly a project Jae Lee ultimately took over. Possibly something that ended up in Marvel Comics Presents.

Whatever this was for, it's wonderfully Liefeld and wonderfully 90s.

It's no wonder Liefeld is such a John Byrne fan. You can see the energy and the anatomy in this!

That makes sense. Even the labeling fits. My guess would be that this unused splash is what would have been part of the 3rd chapter of the Beast arc in MCP #87 that ran through #85-92.

The published splash is in MCP #87 is by Jae Lee and also features the Constrictor's tendrils.
