Description
I am getting down to the last few pages of what I picked up for this series and feel like this page is one of the exceptional ones I was able to acquire. I love the look of Mentor who almost resembles a Neo-Sapien from my favorite childhood tv series Exo-Squad. Then you move down to an excellent battle scene with Gamora and Martyr against Shi'ar soldiers. I felt like I didn't have enough Gamora representation being that I was trying to collect Guardians of the Galaxy and felt that this page was a perfect representation of her. That and I think this might be one of the few pages, if not the only one, I grabbed with Martyr in it. Martyr was previously Quasar and I am a big Quasar fan as well. Thus, this page had it all for me.

Another difficult page to determine the inker as two names on the comic and nothing written about the inker on the page. I want to give a special thank you to John Livesay for helping me determine the inker on the piece. Always nice to be able to get help from artists working on the book.

Sweet page with those really concentrated black spotting on the characters and some girly girl power action.  The placement of the word balloons in that arc really helps to lead the eye along the artwork.

Really excellent two thirds splash! Hey, isn't that red, hairy chick one of the lesser used characters in the X-Men comics that feature the Shi'ar?

Her name is Hussar

Per Marvel Fandom-

Hussar has served with the Imperial Guard for many years and was one of the eight Guards chosen to battle the X-Men for the fate of the Phoenix - which had adopted the shape of Human Jean Grey at that time.

Her Power- Channeling of bioelectricity into other living beings to shock their nervous system and paralyze their motor functions.

YES! That's the vague memory I had, from around the Phoenix Saga. Man, what an obscure character to bring back and use again. Pretty cool!
