DescriptionSooo- I really dug the Wolverine Black White and Blood Series. It was a fun anthology series that had short stories all around wolverine at different points in time. For a life long fan - it was a fun trip down memory lane to the time period of each one. This one from Issue 4 focused on the time the X-men were in the outback ( a favorite period of mine) and wolverine fighting the reavers.. but there was something even more interesting for me… there was a three page sequence where Logan gets attacked by sharks! Besides comic art I also keep large aquariums and have always been fascinated by sharks in particular.. so these pages immediately struck me. I tried to reach out directly to Leonard Kirk with no luck… I reached out to his “rep” Spencer… he didn’t have them. So I thought I was SOL.. but chatting with a friend up in Canada he told me Leonard would be attending a free comic day event at the Comic shop he goes to.. he agreed to check for me. And amazingly Leonard still had all 3 of the pages!! Thank you Jeff for facilitating for me! Friends mean everything in this hobby!Social/Sharing |

The splash is a big moment of the issue! I can imagine them using a classic one liner for such a killer image.

Cool you were able to get comics and aquariums into some pieces of art :) Fun sequence for sure. Wolvie vs a shark. It just...works, doesn't it?! Congrats, Jason!
