Description
Since the Dark Knight Returns 1 is hot news,
It’s about time I shared “another” Frank Miller Batman cover

To celebrate Harley Quinn’s 25th anniversary (2017), DC had Ryan Sook recreate classic covers , but with Harley

As with Frank’s original, the only pen and ink is Ryan’s Harley in the sky

Looks like Sook pencilled the figure complete before turning it into a silhouette with so much detail.

This is a really interesting Dark Knight piece. So Ryan Sook penciled the Harley figure and Frank Miller inked it to keep it Frank Miller? Just not used to seeing FM use so much ink nowadays! What is the paper size, to get an idea of scale?

Frank never touched the art page. :)  It's all Ryan's art, placed over Frank & Lynn's classic cover. Also Ryan has done work that emulates other DC artists (Darwyn Cooke, Jim Aparo, etc) for merchandising

It was drawn 1:1 comic book size.

Hilarious parody of DKR by Ryan Sook! I gotta admit I laughed out loud when I first saw it and that's a good thing. IMHO, We need a little more humor and laughs in this hobby.

Thanks for the comment, glad you enjoyed it! I agree, we can take the hobby a little too seriously at times.
