I have never read Swamp Thing, so I rarely comment on its art. But this piece is just out of sight. Congrats.
A fantastic collage that one could infer some Dr. Manhattan connection especially with the Moore connection.
Very cool!
Cooler than the Andy Warhol Rolling Stones "Sticky Fingers" album cover!
just fuckin beautiful. this is a definite wall hanger and a jaw dropper. congrats
Spectacular! Thanks for sharing!
A classic, incredibly original and unique page. Great acquisition, Keith!
Simply pure magic! Congrats for your amazing collection! :)
NIce one!
Wow! What an innovative splash page! John Totleben really pushed the limits of what comic art could be with this one. Great find!
Alan and John sure got excited in this issue, which would explain the pulled down zipper....Couldn't resist it. Sorry. Great page.
Totleben channeling his inner Robert Rauschenberg. Awesome!
I have had the the opportunity to see some of the original page from this one-of-a-kind issue, so, I can easily imagine how thrilled you must be! On top of the artistic tour de force, what struck me is how heavy these pieces were! I hope, then, it is not too fragile...
Extremely sturdy, they have well stood the test of time.
