Savage Sword of Conan #166 alternate colour Prelim cover Earl Norem

This has a great king of the hill styled cover with the high angle to see Conan defend the top of the stairs.  The wardrobes and setting are reflective of the powerful empire of Aztec people who had fierceness in their beliefs. 

Thanks. Yes at the top of the tower is far better to defend! Although the journey to the America's would have been a huge thing back in that time. 

This is so cool and would have made a better cover image.

The alternates give you another vision of what it could be. It's been nice on other forums to show Earl's work as they know the usual cover works and these alternates bring new art really.
