DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!10.5x16" thin art board featuring original pencil art by noted comic book artist Curt Swan (1920-1996), best known as the artist most associated w/Superman titles during the period fans and historians call the Silver Age of comic books. Offered here is the original art for page 10 of "Superman" #290, published by N.P.P. in August 1975. Issue was written by Jim Shooter w/interior art by Curt Swan and inks by Tex Blaisdell. Storyline "The Man Who Cried Super-Wolf!" Story features Superman dealing w/a practical joker and anti-gravity wielding criminals. Six panel page shows Clark Kent in first two panels and Superman flying to rescue a tug boat. N.P.P. copyright stamp on back. Scattered handling wear/aging. Aged tape at top and at bottom.
