Description

Nice page with Walker in several panels, in this prequel to the return of the new Retro Girl. Always loved Powers and have a page it´s amazing to me. because all the background of the page is black, I had to revisited all the comics until I found the book and the page :)

Beautiful execution on this fully-realized page, dripping with noir shadows and sumptuous backgrounds. I love how Christian anchors the page in the center two panels. A great moment, masterfully building up the excitement for the big reveal of the new Retro Girl in a new volume / relaunch of this favorite series. Bendis and Oeming were in the groove and having fun, which always translates to fantastic comics! Congrats on this great example, David!
