DescriptionNo better way to start off the weekend than with an absolutely phenomenal Spidey splash!Original artwork for Spider-Man Lifeline #2 (Marvel, 2001) by the talented Steve Rude (pencils) and Bob Wiacek (inks). Terrific splash end page featuring the climatic scene from the tantalizing tale, "Part Two: Snakes in the Grass." This dynamic page pits Spidey against one of his earliest archenemies, the deadly Lizard. Even though O'l Web-Head has just beaten the crap out of Boomerang, he now must face an even greater threat when Doctor Conners partakes of the Lifeline formula, which he had been concocting under iron hand of Hammerhead, to instantly transform into his savage alter-ego. Spidey is now in great peril as the Lizard looms over him with murderous intent. One of the VERY BEST images of the Lizard that we have ever seen. Dramatic, pulse pounding action in the Mighty Marvel tradition - Just the way you demand it. Nuff' said! Social/Sharing |
