CLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!6.25x9.25" stat paper sheets w/copy of art to Marvel Tales Vol. 2 #137 (Marvel, March 1982), the first story featuring The Amazing Spider-Man by Steve Ditko that are hand-colored as color guides for the published reprint issue. Complete w/two covers (from original issue not Marvel Tales #137) and 11 story pages. Historic Silver Age Spider-Man storyline "Spider-Man!" by Stan Lee with art by Steve Ditko. Color artist on reprint issues was Andy Yanchus. Pages mounted to 8.5x11" copy paper w/Marvel Masterworks in pen and Amazing Spider-Man stamped at top and marked up w/new color break notations. Color guides are original to 1982 comic issue and were re-used to reprint as Marvel Masterworks #1 that reprinted issues AF #15 & ASM #1-10. November 1987. Lt. aging/handling wear and some tiny edge tears but overall clean. AF #15 Ditko cover has a top edge tattered and was not mounted to other paper. Back marked as "Marvel Tales #137". Pages have cut in panels and corrections as part of the creative process. Cover has mylar piece taped to side w/text coloring. Overall displays VF. From The Archives of Colorist Andy Yanchus.
