Sweet! The old World's Finest cover are pretty cool!
Aparo's Batman is classic, but getting to see him draw Superman is a real treat!
That is amazing!
Love those Aparo covers! Sosososo good. Congrats, Nick
Another sweet Aparo cover! Congrats Nick! ... Now stop holding out on us and post all that incredible art that you have in your secret stash! Treasures like this one need to be shared!
Will get there Daryl. Just takes time. Thanks for the kind words!
These early DC Bronze Dollar comics were always among my favorites each month and I remember this awesome Aparo cover so well! Great classic Aparo Batman image in the background and that cool Superman image taking centerstage (and unlike most of the world Superman was always my favorite over Batman). Love love love it!!!
If this piece was only a Dollar Comic. I would've bought two of them.
Gorgeous Aparo Cover, love being able to see these gems on CAF, Thank you for sharing.
Apart was truly one of the greats!
Congratulations!
I never realized Deathless was a word. Now gotta figure out how to use it IRL. Your love for this cover will always be Deathless! Congrats on a Super fun scene and a great cover too!
Awesome addition!
Dollar comics were big attractions to get the best value and having it on the two biggest stars in DC had kids saving up every month for them. Aparo's art for Superman looks like some Aquaman with him fighting the sea monster. This has got those distinctive Aparo art traits like the face, the brow, that sleek lean body type of a man in motion and fully in control of his capabilities.
Cool Aparo Cover ! Congrats Nick !
Gripping cover! Congrats Nick!
Great example of Aparo not focusing on Bats. Supes looks really great here! Always love how Aparo is able to fit so much on a page in a way that would seem crowded and yet isn't. Nice pickup!
Even though it's later in his run, Aparo still knocks it out of the park. Thankls for posting Nick. I have never seen this image, so to see it in it's original format first is a treat!
