From one of the great first wave Underground Comics artists, Kim Deitch (one of animator Gene Deitch's sons), this is notable for having his three signature characters all in one strip: Waldo the Cat, Uncle Ed The India Rubber Man, and Sunshine Girl. Originally published in the weekly NYC paper East Village Other v3 #36 (Metro edition August 9/National edition August 16, 1968) and then reprinted in the same publisher sister tabloid Gothic Blimp #8 (1969); image area 16x23
