Description

Of all the artists over the years I have been impressed with, Claudio Castellini to me is at the very top of the list. His work is just so incredible and for so long I have wanted to put a piece of art of his up on the wall. I was lucky enough to pick up a Batman of his a while back, but honestly I�m kind of a peripheral Batman fan - so I got greedy and reached out to him about the possibility of a commission. We had a great exchange and he told me he had a very long list but would try to get me in. Then came the question of which character I was looking for. That was easy for me, however Claudio was not particularly interested in tackling the 90s version of Jack Monroe. But when I proposed the 80s version, Cap�s angst ridden partner, he was all over it. It took some time (two and a half years) but he was always upfront with me about the wait, and the exchanges were great.
Today, I received this gem. Jack Monroe Nomad, always in Captain America�s shadow.

Huge congrats checking Castellini off the list with YOUR Nomad! I agree, he's too good. Got that unique, long lean, musculature that's his signature. Just witness exhibit A :) That Cap silhouette in the back is a nice touch!
