Description

Jack Kirby departed from this title in 1974 with his last issue, issue 18, as part of his creation with the Fourth World mythology when he came to DC Comics. DC revived the title in 1977 with a new artistic team that inlcuded a young Marshall Rogers. Steve Englehart and Rogers had already created gold and magic with Batman on Detective Comics in the year previous. It was a natural for DC to see if Englehart and Rogers could revive this series.

What is funny about this issue is that Ilya Hunch has the credits as the inker on this issue. According to the Grand Comics Database, Ilya Huncah is Rogers, Terry Austin, Neal Adams, Jack Abel, Dick Giordano, Al Milgrom, Michael Netzer, and Alan Weiss to name a few inkers on staff at that time. However, the inking on this page appears to be Rogers, and this is who I will credit.
