DescriptionThis is a fun one, not a lot of action, but a little character development. We start with a ship that can only be out of Star Trek landing outside Alex and Lorna's house. We see they are having some domestic bliss making some chili with a little innuendo. nok nok It's brother Scott and Hey, here's Corsair, aka Christopher Summers, aka OUR FATHER. Boom - take that Star Wars. Social/Sharing |

Scott - made chili not pasta
Oh Scott - it's our father
Who is also Star Jammin'
May the light
Of chef cooking ladle
Illuminates Havok on page
Your Cockrum illuminates he's old
Papa Corsair, hear me?
Papa Corsair, see me?
Papa, Cyclops finds me in the night?
Papa Corsair, near me?
Papa Corsair, hear me?
Papa, Cockrum draws me not be
Frightened?
Looking at the skies
I seem to see the Summers eyes
Which ones are yours?
Here you are now that yesterday
Has waved goodbye
I closed my doors?
My wife is so much Lorna.
The chili's for our dinner
The knock I hear is so much louder
Now you're at my home

A beat up copy of X-Men #158 was the second X-Men back issue I acquired after I started reading comics, so I remember this page vividly since it was not only Alex's introduction to Corsair, but my introduction to the character as well (not to mention my introduction to Alex and Lorna). Awesome pickup!

It's always great to see Dave's X-Men work appear on caf and anytime the pages centers around the Summer's family. The page is tip top imo. Thanks for Sharing.

Thanks David, I agree, I like a quiet page sometimes, focuses in on the story telling. Funny re-reading this I missed some of the 'innuendo' from their convo as a kid. haha
