DescriptionOh dear. First it was the Tradd. Then the DDubs. Now I'm getting that loving feeling again, and it's the sweet, sweet marks of Matt Lesniewski that have me wanting more. After dipping my toes at NYCC last year, I decided something larger was needed. Behold. The Destroyer of Worlds, Minds, and Sensibility. Our tiny brains cannot possibly comprehend Galactus, so the neurons fire wildly trying to make sense of the chaos. This is the most realistic representation of Galactus that has ever been rendered. If you disagree we can have words - or, if you want to be messed up like Snorek, fisticuffs. Part of the epicness that was Heroes 2022. 11x14 Social/Sharing |

Incredible reindition of Galactus. I love how wild and out there this piece is. Perfect for an inscrutable cosmic entity.

You got those big art eyes Matt Lesniewski, baby
He brings the dread on his shoulders, you know what I mean
He got legs so long like he could walk on air, hey baby
For you darlin', can't hide anywhere
For your love, Galactus love
I'd do anything, yes I would
I want your love, Galactus love
He's been too hungry too long
Yeah, Galactus love
Matt's got a kind of art that's just so fine
The way he fills those machines baby, line line line
Yes and when art smiled at me, like Matt did just now
Art that I want, is just to get from you somehow
For your love, Galactus love
Cosmic anything, yes I would
I want your love, Galactus love
He's been too hungry too long

Maybe not the Galactus we all know and love, but displays the wonderfully interpretive power of art.

This is fantastic! The shading / hatching of the smoke coming out of his back is just perfect!

He keeps stepping it up. The stepping on top of THAT stepping up. And so on and so forth. Ridiculously inventive and skilled and 100% recognizable. Awesome commission, man!

Thankfully the swelling around my eyes has come down enough that I can see this beauty.

Great piece, and the transition of technique from the left to the right does a great job of highlighting Galactus. I would love to see this at 11x14" size! Tremendous.

Trippy in all the best ways. Love all that hatch-y line work too. Congrats, M!

I love EVERYTHING about this, M L. Matt is obviously the new Destroyer of Worlds. Incredible way of capturing the multi-dimensionality of Galactus. Brilliant piece! Congrats!
