DescriptionThis "2000AD Postergraph" page was new material created by Brian for publication by Titan in the Judge Dredd Cursed Earth, Part One volume p.49 back in 1982. I originally bought it directly from Brian, via my friend Mssr Joseph Melchior many years ago.Social/Sharing |

Ooh, and it's alright and it's where it belongs
We gonna get art back to where it started from
Bolland's good, art can be strong
We gotta get Judge Dredd to where started from (a-ha)
Do you remember that page (Part One splash page)
Joseph first came your way?
I said no art could take this place
And if you get Earth (if you get hurt)
By the Cursed things I say
Bolland puts that smile back on your face
Ooh, Brian's alright and it's where this belongs
Art's gotta get right back to where it started from
Tom is good, art finds his home
We gotta get Judge Dredd to where started from (a-ha)
Joe Melchior (the inks on yours)
Can never fade away
You know deals only just begun
You buy what I love (give me your love)
I just can't stay away (no, no)
I know this art's the oh, oh, only one

Welcome back, indeed! What a beauty. I'm sure the piece is still holding a grudge for you having let it go, but I'm sure you guys will be alright in the long run :)

Moment of weakness. Mow. Almost a meow. Now change it slightly to momentary episode of weakness. MEOW.

Always great to erase a regret! It's a real prize, Brian is amazing at drawing quirky characters, and this is a classic example!
Thanks for posting this beauty, now I can have a look whenever the mood strikes!

Been trying to decide what was more ridiculously funny on this piece, the guy drinking Drano or the guy with the possum hat? I think I gotta go with the hat. Either way, I'm sure it's even funnier in person, so congrats on bringing it back home.

I just had a revelation. You bought this because Berni Wrightsons Jennifers, hot sister is in the shopping trolley! Mystery solved. If you do not believe me, hold them side by side. A good bod distracts from a horrid head.
